How do you get FordPass points?
Points will appear in your FordPass account within 30 after you make an eligible purchase or 10 days after a qualifying service is completed. Depending on the model, financing or leasing a Ford vehicle is worth up to 31,000 points,1 and each routine maintenance visit adds 10 points for every dollar you spend.1 You can track your balance inside the FordPass app.
What can I do with FordPass points?
FordPass points are redeemable for a variety of purchases and services. Think of them a bit like airline miles: You can use them when checking out of our Bell Ford service center to pay for oil changes, new tires, and more, or you can accrue thousands of points and use them to save significantly on a leased or financed Ford model.
How many FordPass points equal a dollar?
The typical FordPass points conversion rate is 200 FordPass points equal to a dollar when you redeem them.1 When you lease or buy a qualifying Ford vehicle, you'll gain a flat rate of 22,000 points for EVs,1 31,000 points for gas, diesel, or hybrid vehicles,1 and up to 22,000 points for Ford Blue Advantage certified models.1 Ask our dealership for more details.
How much are 50,000 FordPass points worth?
If you've collected 50,000 FordPass points, you have the equivalent of $250 ready to be used. This amount can be applied toward future service visits, parts purchases, or eligible vehicle leases and loans. Gathering 50,000 points may seem unattainable, but remember that you can bolster your points by completing extra activities that are listed in the chart on this page.
How many FordPass points are needed for an oil change?
FordPass points provide a cost-effective way for you to pay for an oil change or other maintenance service. Oil changes for Ford vehicles typically cost between $40 and $150, depending on the type and amount of oil your model requires. To pay for a $40 oil change with FordPass points, you will need an account balance of 8,000, and a $150 oil change would require 30,000 points.
Do FordPass points expire?
Yes, your FordPass balance can expire, but this occurs only after 18 months of inactivity. If you're following your vehicle's recommended oil change schedule and visiting our service center every six months – or even once per year – your FordPass account will remain active. Redeeming your current points for maintenance, accessories, or parts can also keep your account from expiring.
