2023 Ford Maverick Trim Styles and Features

The 2023 Ford Maverick lineup gives you three exciting trim models to compare. To help you decide which new truck you'll want to climb into on the 2023 Ford Maverick release date, let's look at some of the highlights each trim offers.

The 2023 Maverick XL comes with five-passenger seating, a choice of cloth seat colors, and rear under-seat storage. You can tell the 2023 Maverick XL apart from other new Ford trucks for sale by its black mesh grille with black surround and LED headlamps.

The mid-range 2023 Maverick XLT adds exterior style with Tremor Orange accents to the vehicle's grille, heated glass side-view mirrors, and black headlamps. The 2023 Maverick XLT interior boasts front bucket seats, heated seats, and an eight-way power driver's seat. Opt for the Navy Pier cloth seats to give your ride a unique look.

The top-of-the-line 2023 Maverick Lariat offers a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel, wiper-activated LED headlamps, and signature accent lighting.

Engine Specs and Performance

When it comes to power and handling, the 2023 Ford Maverick release date will see a new truck among our Ford specials that offers both. Under the hood of every new 2023 Maverick is a 2.5-liter hybrid engine that pairs with continuously variable transmission and a front-wheel drive drivetrain.

The 2.5-liter engine produces 191 combined horsepower and 155 pound-feet of torque, while the available 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine gives you 250 horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque.

At the time of writing, EPA-estimated fuel consumption figures have not been released, but we expect fuel economy to be comparable to the 2022 models in both 2.5-liter Hybrid and 2.0-liter EcoBoost configurations.

The 2.5-liter Hybrid engines can tow up to 2,000 pounds1 in FWD configurations. The 4K Tow Package is not available on these models. The 2.0-liter EcoBoost engines can also tow up to 2,000 pounds1 but offer this capability in FWD and AWD configurations.
