Picture yourself cruising down Interstate 10 in Phoenix, AZ, as the desert sun dips below the horizon in your new Ford EV or hybrid. If it's time to make the transition to a new Ford hybrid SUV or finally learn what all the hype is about with the latest Ford EV truck, Bell Ford is ready to take you on that journey.
Deciding which Ford EV or hybrid is right for you depends on your goals. Are you primarily looking for a more efficient ride with impressive range, or do you want to combine capability and better fuel economy, like with the F-150 hybrid powertrain? Let's take a look at some of the highlights from the models available at Bell Ford.
If you want to go further but still need the extra space of a crossover or SUV, Ford has a couple of great choices. The Mustang Mach-E is a Ford EV SUV with seating for five, up to 59.7 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats down, and an EPA-estimated range of up to 320 miles1 on a full charge.
Another possibility is the Escape compact SUV, which can be fitted with an accessible 2.5-liter hybrid engine, serving up to an EPA-estimated 39 MPG (Combined).2 Like the Mach-E, it seats five, but boasts a larger cargo area of up to 65.4 cubic feet when the back row is not in use. The Escape is also available as a plug-in hybrid (PHEV), making it the only Ford plug-in hybrid offered for the latest model year.
But if you need serious towing power and a truck bed to handle heavy loads, the F-150 Lightning is ready to deliver. Fully electric, the Lightning achieves an EPA-estimated range of up to 320 miles and a maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds.3 The renowned F-150 also provides an available hybrid V-6, producing 578 pound-feet of torque, with a towing capacity of up to 11,600 pounds,3 contingent on the trim and setup.
As the brand's smaller pickup, the Maverick can be transformed into a Ford hybrid truck with its available 2.5-liter hybrid engine. When properly equipped with the 4K Tow Package, it can haul up to 4,000 pounds.3
Whether it's the Escape Plug-In Hybrid or the F-150 Lightning, you can schedule a test drive at Bell Ford to experience which one feels right for you!

Yes, Ford has produced several hybrid models in the 2025 lineup. In the truck segment, the nimble Ford Maverick and full-size Ford F-150 both provide an available hybrid powertrain based on the trim level. For SUVs, the Escape comes with a hybrid engine starting at the ST-Line Select trim, and there's also an Escape Plug-In Hybrid variant.
Certain PHEV and EV models that were purchased before October 1, 2025, may qualify for tax credits.4 But as of this writing, there are no tax credits permitted for new or used Ford hybrids or EVs due to the One Big Beautiful Bill Act that was signed into law earlier this year. On plug-in hybrid models and electric models, fuel economy is stated in MPGe. MPGe is the EPA equivalent measure of gasoline fuel efficiency for electric mode operation.
